A TOUR TO THE PEARL CITY:
It is truly said "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page"
The secondary students of MSB Godhra, as an annual school excursion, headed south to witness the eye catching aesthetic beauty of the 'City of Pearls' Hyderabad in the month of January.
Day 1.
The level of excitement could easily be seen on the cheerful faces of all as they departed on 28th of January.
Day 2.
After a 24 hours train journey, the group commenced their itinerary with the visit to the Salar Jung Museum, a place that no art lover or a history enthusiasts can miss.
In the afternoon they visited the Grandeur of rulers, glory of its past, glimpse of their enigmatic way of living which are still alive at the Chowmahalla palace, a place worth visiting when on a Hyderabad tour.
Then they spent the rest of the evening shopping in the streets surrounding Char Minar, a square edifice in the heart of the city.
Day 3.
The students started with a visit to the Golconda Fort. This fort, built during the Qutub Shahi dynasty, is a brilliantexample of mathematical and architectural brilliance.
Next stop, Snow World. The experience of artificial snow-fall in the hot and humid climate of Hyderabad was an awesome one.
The evening was full of fun and frolic as the students spent the rest of their day at the NTR Garden and Lumbini Park, where they enjoyed the electrifying Laser Show and Boat Cruise on the Husain Sagar Lake.
Day 4.
This day was marked exclusively for a trip to the World's Largest Film Studio Complex, The Ramoji Film City where they explored many recreated palaces and film sets. children learnt the minutes of how a movie is made and got a chance to participate in recreating a famous movie scene.
Day 5.
On the last day children set off to visit to the Nehru Zoolgical Park where they witnessed diversity at it best with a huge variety of birds, reptiles and mammal species. No wonder why it is one of the most visited attraction in Hyderabad.
Finally it was time to bid goodbye to Hyderabad.
Day 6.
It was time to see the eager faces of parents who had come to receive thier children.
